My work explores memory as a fragile, living connector – an umbilical cord that links us to ancient knowledge and carries it into the present. I am fascinated by how memories shape our identity, how they both anchor and transform our sense of self.
Through collage, photography, newspaper fragments, and layers of oil paint, I build visual spaces between remembering and forgetting. Each piece begins with something deeply personal and evolves into a shared visual language – revealing not how memories were, but how they feel now: uncertain, dreamlike, and alive.
I was born in Tel-Aviv where I studied philosophy and was an art teacher. I immigrated to Toronto, studied at OCAD and graduated with an Honours degree. As a full-time artist, I showcase my work at various galleries and have had them published in a several art books.
